2013 Nissan Altima CVT problems
Earlier I wrote about the problems that Nissan Pathfinders, Nissan Sentras, and Nissan Versas are having with their CVT transmissions. Nissan even extended the CVT warranty on earlier models.
There are an abnormally high amount of complaints regarding the CVT transmission in Nissan Altimas on NHTSA (the government body that, amongst other things, aggregates consumer complaints regarding motor vehicles.). Here's a breakdown comparison for each model year:
