About Valero Law

Honesty. Ethics. Knowledge.

Valero Law, APC was borne out of the idea that manufacturer's shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of consumers who have paid their hard earned money for vehicle's that aren't fit for their intended use.  It doesn't make a difference if you've paid $100,000 or $10,000 for your car - at the end of the day, you're paying for a product and manufacturers should stand by that product.

Areas of Practice

Automobile Lemon Law

In 1970, California enacted the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act requiring all manufacturers to repurchase or replace faulty products they failed to fix after a “reasonable number” of repair attempts.  These 'fixes' can consist of almost anything, ranging from a dealership visit for a transmission replacement to a repair for to a window or water pump.

Dealership Fraud

Dealership fraud consists of a  wide variety of illegal practices and dealership scams that hurt consumers. These practices include not disclosing the vehicle had prior accident damage, not disclosing the vehicle was a rental vehicle prior to sale, or even a misrepresentations in price.  Dealerships (also known as stealerships!) must be stopped!

Consumer Goods

The California Lemon Law, part of The Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, applies to all consumer products purchased for personal use. Although it is most often associated with defective vehicles, the Act provides warranty protections to purchasers and lessees of both new and used consumer goods. A consumer good is virtually any product purchased by an individual for personal or household use, except clothing and consumables. It could be anything from an electric toothbrush to a kitchen appliance.

I have nothing but praise for attorney Joshua Valero who assisted me with my lemon law case. I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus that persistently had transmission issues. Thanks to Joshua I was not only able to get a buyback from Ford but I was able to obtain a nice lump sum of damages which were owed to me by Ford. The process took a while but it’s just how things go and is not something Joshua can control. Sit back, be patient, and let Joshua handle business.

My car was a lemon, and I had no idea I even had a case when I was contacted by the law firm. I was totally skeptical at first but Joshua and his team answered all my questions and took care of everything! I figured I would get enough to fix my car but I ended up getting enough to buy a brand new car, and then some! I would totally recommend Joshua Valero to anyone with the same car issues, he’s legit and did a great job!

After, having the worst car experience with GMC dealership and corporate I found a team of lawyers who listened to me and gave me a piece of mind. They guided me through the vehicle surrendering process. Even though I live on San Jose, California Joshua always kept great communication with me he got me a great settlement. Thank you Joshua.
