Chrysler Pacifica Class Action Lawsuit Filed
A few weeks ago I wrote about NHTSA beginning a investigation into the 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica with persistent engine stalling and now a class action lawsuit was recently filed.
The complaint alleges the 2017 and 2018 Chrysler Pacifica vehicles equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine and 9-speed 948TE automatic transmissions contain a design defect that causes the vehicles to stall at high speeds without warning.
While the issue here lies with engine stalling, the 948TE transmission in Pacificas has proven to be quite troublesome and is featured in Acura, Fiat, Honda, Jeep, and Dodge Ram vehicles.
A copy of the complaint can be found here.
The Chrysler Pacifica engine stall lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California - Ryan and Sarah Wildin, et al., v. FCA US, LLC. 3:17-cv-02594.
